چکیده

Restrictions on emissions are being imposed by regional and international shipping organisations, which raise the question of marine fuel technology can most effectively replace heavy oil diesel engines. The aim this study is to find appropriate advanced combined gas steam turbine cycles for propulsion systems in a large container ship with respect evolving maritime environmental regulations. selection criteria thermodynamic performance, emissions, size, weight ship. Two baselines used: engine using system liquefied natural oil. Then, examined based replacement enhanced assess benefits over results show that efficient, at up 1.6% higher than other cycles. Regarding size weight, approximately 24.7% lighter original system.

Dish concentrators permit the collection of very high-temperature heat, at temperatures limited only by the properties of the containment vessel material. Using this heat efficiently is a major challenge in the design of energy conversion systems for dish concentrators: the heat must be used either immediately on the dish, or else transported, with losses, to a remote energy conversion device. ...

Liquefied Natural Gas for Trucks and Buses

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is being developed as a heavy vehicle fuel. The reason for developing LNG is to reduce our dependency on imported oil by eliminating technical and costs barriers associated with its usage. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has a program, currently in its third year, to develop and advance costeffective technologies for operating and refueling natural gas–fueled hea...
